The Story Behind This Work

Veiled Memories explores the fragility of remembrance—how our most precious moments transform and fade with time. Translucent layers of pigment and mixed materials create a sense of looking through a veil at images half-remembered, neither fully present nor entirely gone.

The composition emerges from the tension between clarity and obscurity, inviting viewers to reconstruct their own narratives within the work. Each layer represents a different temporal moment, overlaid and interwoven to suggest the non-linear nature of human memory.
